Bad Beat Boulevard

A poker horde survival.

You're the Prosper Donkey, and the room is coming for you. Wave after wave of poker-themed enemies close in while cards are dealt onto the table around you. Collect five and your hand becomes your attack: a pair sends out homing shots, four of a kind or better wipes the table. Pick up perks as you level, beat the room's boss to open the next room, and see how long you last.

How it plays

    Survive the waves

    Move, aim and fire. The waves keep coming, and every fifth wave the room sends a boss. Beat it to open the next room.

    Collect the cards

    Cards are dealt onto the table as you play. You hold five at a time, and the game shows what you're drawing to.

    Play your hand

    The better the poker hand, the bigger the attack. Then see where you land on the daily, weekly and all‑time leaderboards.

How it started

An experiment that stuck.

I was watching a YouTube channel that tests every new AI model the same way: ask it to build a game, then play what it makes. I wanted to see what I'd get with my own ingredients. So I gave it the Prosper Donkey, poker, and The Hideaway Poker Club in Carrollton, my home card room.

I steered it a few rounds, and what came back was a real game. The Hideaway shared it on Facebook, it was played more than 800 times that week, and I kept going.

It's had regular updates ever since, most of them shaped by the players who keep coming back. And the felt you play on is the Hideaway's own.
