01 · What you get
Set up the way Shopify should be, not the way the default template leaves it.
Most DIY stores stall on the unglamorous parts: shipping rules, tax settings, collections that make sense, product pages that convert. That's the work.
You own the store
Prosper Donkey is a Shopify Partner. Your store is created in the Partner program and transferred to you at launch: your account, your data, and Shopify bills you, not me.
Theme, customized
A Shopify theme shaped to your brand rather than a template with your logo pasted on. Homepage, collections, product pages, cart.
Products and collections loaded
From a spreadsheet, your old platform, or a folder of photos. Variants, sizes, personalization options, the lot. 4Q's team personalization lives right on the product page.
Payments, shipping, taxes
Shopify Payments, shipping zones and rates, Texas sales tax, and your domain. The settings that quietly break sales when they're wrong.
Tools that save you hours
When a store needs something Shopify doesn't do, I build it. Both stores use a Google Sheet that pulls orders for fulfillment, replacing a $30/month app.
A walkthrough, then a lifeline
You learn to run it. Afterwards, the care plan means changes and fixes are a text away, not a support ticket.
02 · How it goes
Working store in days. Live when your products are ready.
The build is fast. The clock usually runs on photos, product details and your domain, so we start collecting those on day one.
- 1
Day 0
We talk
What you sell, who buys it, what's worked before. I create the store the same day so you can watch it take shape.
- 2
Day 2–3
You click around
Your theme, your first products, a test checkout. Real store, private link. You tell me what's off.
- 3
Week 1–2
Catalog loaded, live
Every product, collection and shipping rule in place. Domain connected, store transferred to you, first order celebrated.
- 4
After
It keeps growing
Autopilot writes new listings overnight from your photos. The care plan handles changes. The weekly report shows what's selling and where buyers come from.
03 · What it costs
A starting price for the build. Then only what you use.
Half on signing, half at launch, in a written statement of work. The starting price covers a standard theme and catalog; the more custom the store, the more the build price moves, and you see that number in writing before anything starts. Shopify's own subscription is billed to you by Shopify, from about $39 a month on their Basic plan.
Store build

A new Shopify store on a standard theme, set up properly and handed to you.

- Changes and fixes when you need them: banners, collections, pages
- Theme and app updates handled
- Custom tools when you need them, like the order-export sheet
- Text or email me directly, no ticket queue
- Add the weekly traffic and sales report for $20/month
Autopilot
$50per month
Drop product photos in a folder. Wake up to finished draft listings.
- Title, description, tags and collections written overnight
- Tuned to your store's voice, categories and price range
- Up to 100 products a month
- Email when drafts are ready; you review and publish
- A Prosper Donkey original, used by our own stores
Starting prices. The build depends on catalog size and customization; a store with a few dozen products and a standard theme sits at the low end. The care plan is priced per store, on the call. Every figure is confirmed in writing before we start. Texas sales tax applies where required.
04 · Clients
What store owners say.
“Shane set up our whole online store and it's exactly what an our shop needed — team personalization built right into the product pages, clean design, everything just works. Any time we need something added or changed he's on it fast and doesn't overcomplicate things. Great to work with someone who gets both the tech side and what a small business actually needs.”
“We asked Prosper Donkey to create a web app to help us score and track rounds of golf. PD delivered an amazing product much quicker than we anticipated, and the end result has exceeded our expectations. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Prosper Donkey to anyone who is looking for a solution to a problem and are needing someone that can deliver that solution in a timely manner. Thanks Prosper Donkey!”

05 · Questions
The things store owners ask first.
What makes the price go up?
Customization. A standard theme with your branding and a few dozen products is the starting price. Product personalization builders, integrations with other systems, custom apps or very large catalogs each add scope, and I price them line by line so you can pick what's worth it.
Who owns the store?
You do, from launch. I build it under Shopify's Partner program and transfer it to your account. Shopify bills you directly for your plan; I never sit between you and your store.
How do you get paid on this?
Two ways, and both are on the table. You pay the build price and, if you want it, the care plan. Shopify also pays me a small referral on stores I set up through the Partner program, which is part of why the setup price is what it is. It costs you nothing extra.
I'm on Etsy, Square or a spreadsheet. Can you move me over?
Yes. Products, variants and images come across; customer history usually does too. It's a normal part of a build.
What does Shopify itself cost?
Their Basic plan is about $39 a month plus card processing fees, billed by Shopify. That's separate from my build price and care plan.
What do you need from me?
Product details and photos in whatever form you have them, your logo and brand colors, and access to your domain. I'll send a one-page checklist after our call.
Can you keep adding products after launch?
That's what Autopilot is for: drop photos in a shared folder, and finished draft listings are waiting the next morning for you to approve.
Do you also build regular websites?
Yes. Restaurants, contractors and local services, live in days. See the websites page.
Tell me what you sell. I'll show you a working store before you spend a dollar.
Thirty minutes on the phone, then a written plan with a fixed price.
No pitch deck. A conversation, then a written plan.
