Privacy
Privacy Policy.
Effective October 10, 2026
The short version
- We collect what you send us: your name, email, phone number, business name and what you’d like built.
- Our website uses Google and Meta tools to count visits and to show our ads to people who’ve been here. Our games use Google Analytics only.
- We use your information to answer you, do the work, bill you and make our site better.
- We don’t sell your information for money, and we never give or rent our contact list to anyone.
- You can ask to see, fix or delete what we have about you. Email privacy@prosperdonkey.com.
Who we are and what this covers
Prosper Donkey LLC is a web studio in Prosper, Texas, run by Shane Wilson. “We” and “us” mean Prosper Donkey.
This policy covers:
- prosperdonkey.com, including its forms, the proposal and invoice pages we send clients, and our client report pages;
- our booking links and the emails we send;
- our games, Bad Beat Boulevard (badbeatboulevard.com) and Farkle (farkle.prosperdonkey.com);
- preview sites we host on prosperdonkey.com addresses before a client takes them over;
- the app we use to post to our own Facebook and Instagram accounts;
- the sign-in for our internal tools.
It doesn’t cover websites we build for clients: each client owns its site and is responsible for its own privacy policy. Coursework, our junior golf app, has its own privacy policy.
What we collect
What you give us.
- Forms. When you fill out our free-website form, we get your name, email, phone number, business name, and whatever you tell us about your business and what you want.
- Booking a call. When you book through Cal.com, Cal.com collects the name, email and notes you enter and passes them to us.
- Working with us. When you’re a client, we keep your contact details, the proposals you accept (the name you type, when you accepted, your IP address and the exact version you accepted), your invoices and payment records, and our emails with you.
- Payments. Stripe handles payments on our invoice pages. Stripe tells us the amount, the date and whether the payment went through. We never see or store your full card or bank account number.
What’s collected automatically. On prosperdonkey.com, our site and the tools on it (Google Analytics, the Google Ads tag and the Meta pixel) use cookies, pixels and similar technology. They record things like the pages you view, the link or ad that brought you here, your device and browser, your IP address and your approximate location. Our games use Google Analytics only, which records the same kind of visit data plus how the game is played, such as games started and finished.
How we use it
- To answer you and send what you asked for.
- To do the work you hire us for, and to send proposals, invoices, receipts and the reports you ask for.
- To see how people find and use our site and games, and to make them better.
- To show our ads to people who’ve visited our site, and to see whether our ads work.
- To keep our sites and accounts secure, and to meet our legal, tax and accounting duties.
Who we share it with
We share information only with companies that help us run the business, and only what they need to do their job.
| Company | What it does for us | Its policy |
|---|---|---|
| Analytics, advertising, our business email | Read it | |
| Meta | Advertising on Facebook and Instagram, and our posting app | Read it |
| Stripe | Card and bank payments on our invoices | Read it |
| Cal.com | Booking calls | Read it |
| Amazon Web Services | Hosting our site, storing our records, sending our emails | Read it |
| Cloudflare | Hosting Bad Beat Boulevard and its leaderboards | Read it |
We’ll also share information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone’s safety. If Prosper Donkey is ever sold or merged, your information would go to the new owner, who would have to honor this policy.
We don’t sell your information for money, and we don’t give it to anyone for their own marketing. Some state laws treat ad tools like the Meta pixel as “selling” or “sharing” data. To turn that off, use the choices in the next section.
Online tracking and ads
Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics on our site and games to see how visitors use them. It uses cookies. Here’s how Google uses information from sites that use its services. To block Google Analytics on every site, use Google’s opt-out browser add-on.
Ads on Google, Facebook and Instagram (prosperdonkey.com only). We advertise on Google and on Meta’s Facebook and Instagram. Google and Meta are third-party vendors. They use cookies, pixels and device identifiers to show our ads to people who’ve visited our site, on other websites and apps, and to tell us whether those ads worked.
Other companies track across sites. When you use prosperdonkey.com, Google and Meta may collect information about your activity over time and across other websites. That’s how their ad networks work.
Your choices.
- Google: turn off personalized ads in My Ad Center.
- Meta: change your ad settings in Ad Preferences.
- Many ad companies at once: use the Network Advertising Initiative or the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out tools.
- Your phone: reset or limit your advertising ID in your device settings.
- Your browser: block or delete cookies, or turn on Global Privacy Control (below).
Our private client pages. We don’t load the Meta pixel or the Google Ads tag on the proposal, invoice and report pages we send clients, and Google Analytics on those pages never receives the private link that opens them.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of ad tracking on prosperdonkey.com: on that visit we don’t load the Meta pixel, and we turn off ad personalization for Google’s tags. We don’t respond to Do Not Track signals, because there’s no common standard for them.
Our games
Bad Beat Boulevard and Farkle are free browser games for a general audience. They have no accounts, no ads and no Meta pixel, and they never ask for an email or phone number. They run Google Analytics only, with ad personalization turned off, so we can see how many people play and where the games need work. Farkle saves your game and settings on your own device; we don’t receive them.
Bad Beat Boulevard’s leaderboards. To keep score, the game gives your browser a random player ID. If you choose to save a name for the leaderboards, that name, your scores and a summary of each run (such as how long it lasted and how it ended) are stored on our leaderboard server. Your name shows on the public boards, so a nickname works fine. To remove your name and scores, email privacy@prosperdonkey.com with the name you used.
Our Facebook and Instagram posting app
We run an app on Meta’s developer platform that posts our own videos and photos to Prosper Donkey’s Facebook Page and Instagram account. It uses the access keys Meta gives us for our own accounts. It handles only the posts we publish and the stats Meta reports for our own accounts, like views, reach and comment counts. It collects nothing about the people who see our posts beyond the totals Meta provides. We use it only to publish our posts and see how they do, and we keep those stats in our own reports. To ask us to delete anything the app holds, email privacy@prosperdonkey.com and we’ll delete it within 30 days.
Staff sign-in
Our internal tools use Google sign-in, for our own staff only. Google gives us the staff member’s name, email address and profile picture. We use that only to let the right people in, and we don’t share it.
How long we keep it
- Messages from people who don’t become clients: as long as they’re useful for following up, then we delete them. Ask any time and we’ll delete them sooner.
- Client records, proposals, invoices and payment records: as long as tax and business-records rules require, generally seven years.
- Google Analytics: detailed visit data for 2 months, and the anonymous visitor ID behind it for up to 14 months after a visitor’s last visit.
- Google, Meta, Stripe, Cal.com and Cloudflare keep their own copies under their own policies.
How we protect it
We use well-known providers and encrypted connections, and only Prosper Donkey and the few people who help run it can see your information. No system is perfect, but we work to keep your information safe.
Children
prosperdonkey.com is for businesses. It isn’t meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them. Our games are made for a general audience, not for children, and they never ask anyone for contact details. If you think a child under 13 has sent us personal information, email privacy@prosperdonkey.com and we’ll delete it.
Your choices and rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we have about you;
- correct it;
- delete it;
- send you a copy.
Email privacy@prosperdonkey.com. We’ll answer within 45 days. We may ask you to confirm who you are first. We have to keep some records, like paid invoices, for tax reasons, and we’ll tell you if that applies. We won’t charge you or treat you differently for asking. If we say no, you can appeal by replying to our answer, and we’ll respond within 60 days.
Texas and other state residents
Texas and several other states give their residents rights over their personal data. We’re a small business, so most of those laws don’t apply to us, but we give everyone the rights above. We don’t collect or sell sensitive personal data, such as health information or precise location, on the sites this policy covers.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we’ll update the effective date at the top. If a change is significant, like a new use of your information, we’ll say so at the top of this page when it takes effect.
