Prosper Donkey.
I build Shopify stores for small businesses across North Dallas — and keep them stocked on autopilot. Drop a product photo into a shared Google Drive folder and our AI pipeline writes the listing and adds it to your store as a draft overnight.
Shopify isn't the only thing I do. The businesses I work with usually sit between two bad options: a SaaS that almost fits, or an agency they can't afford. I build the version that fits their workflow — a family golf app parents use to follow their kid's round live, a booking-integrated site for a dumpster rental company, a full member platform for a community garden nonprofit.
After launch I run care plans — hosting, updates, and someone to call when something breaks — for what I've built or whatever you're already running. A couple of engagements at a time, so nothing gets ignored.
01 — Services
Three ways to work together.
Most engagements fall into one of three tracks. Shopify builds for new stores, Autopilot for hands-off product uploads, or care plans for what's already running.

02 — Work
Built for real businesses.
Live work and active builds — different industries, same common thread: a small-business owner who needed software that fit their workflow — not a a SaaS with the wrong shape. Designed and shipped with Claude, hosted on whichever cloud fits the build.

Giving Garden of Carrollton
Nonprofit · Carrollton, TX

Farkle

— Clients
What clients say.
“Shane set up our whole online store and it's exactly what an our shop needed — team personalization built right into the product pages, clean design, everything just works. Any time we need something added or changed he's on it fast and doesn't overcomplicate things. Great to work with someone who gets both the tech side and what a small business actually needs.”
“We asked Prosper Donkey to create a web app to help us score and track rounds of golf. PD delivered an amazing product much quicker than we anticipated, and the end result has exceeded our expectations. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Prosper Donkey to anyone who is looking for a solution to a problem and are needing someone that can deliver that solution in a timely manner. Thanks Prosper Donkey!”
“Prosper Donkey is great to work with and can help your business grow. Great service and follow up.”
“We can't say enough good things about Shane and Prosper Donkey. Our garden's digital presence was a patchwork — a decade-old WordPress blog, a Wix page for members, and everything else tracked by hand in spreadsheets and an old Access database. Shane replaced all of it with a real, custom-built platform: a public site, a member portal where volunteers log their own hours, and an admin dashboard that gives our board the reporting we need. And he did the entire build pro bono for our nonprofit. Every step of the way he listened, responded quickly to our feedback, and clearly cared about getting the details right, not just shipping something fast. If you're a small business or nonprofit that needs something real and tailored — not an out-of-the-box template — Shane is exactly who you want.”

03 — How
How a project actually goes.
Not an agency. Not a freelancer marketplace. Just a guy who's been writing software for a long time, now building with Claude as a full-time coding partner.
The steps below describe a new build. Care plans and Autopilot are simpler — just book a call and we'll sort out the details from there.
We talk.
Coffee, Zoom, whatever. You describe the business and the friction. I ask the annoying questions a developer asks so we don't build the wrong thing.
I prototype with Claude.
A working version in days, not months. You click around, tell me what's wrong, I fix it. We repeat until it fits.
It goes live.
Hosted on whichever cloud fits — AWS, Cloudflare, Vercel — under your own domain. I'll secure it, set it up, and keep it running. Or we can park it at a *.prosperdonkey.com subdomain while we iterate. Either way, I'm a text away when something breaks.
